Chayla Greenslet
is a recent graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in voice. From an early age, Chayla has demonstrated a deep passion for singing, which has shaped both her academic and personal journey.
Currently, Chayla serves as a soprano on the worship team at her church in Portland, Maine. Throughout her high school and college years, she actively participated in numerous solo performances and choral ensembles, including productions of Les Misérables, the University of Southern Maine's Gianni Schicchi, and Euridice Rising. She has also expanded her understanding of vocal performance through studies in vocal pedagogy, equipping her with a well-rounded knowledge of vocal technique and function.
Beyond her work as a performer, Chayla has discovered a passion for teaching. Inspired by the mentors who have positively influenced her musical journey, she is dedicated to encouraging others to find their voice and embrace their confidence. Chayla aspires to continue her career in music both as an educator and as a vocalist, particularly within the worship ministry. She is excited to embark on this next chapter, sharing her experiences and love for music with others.
