Summer Camp 2026 Internships

CSPA is accepting applications from Teens who are interested in being summer interns.

Gain experience working with kids, teaching music and/or theater, and working backstage. Interns will assist in leading activities with the campers, coaching students, have teaching opportunities, as well as opportunities to assist with Chorography, Costuming, Sound Engineering, Lighting, Set Building, etc., depending on the camps they apply for. Performance interns will have the opportunity to shine onstage in the adult roles in our JR production. Before the start of Camps we will have an Internship training and CPR/Emergency Certification Training - This will be included in the cost of The Internship. Over the course of the summer, Interns will have Focused group Classes, Regular progress check-ins, as well as and one private coaching per week of camp from our teachers and experience personal growth as a musician, Actor, and leader.

Superstar Camp -June 22nd - 26th

Full Internship - 9th Grade+ No cost for 1 Camp week

Previous Vocal/Dance/Performance/ or Design experience IS REQUIRED for this internship. This is a backstage/Teaching/Choreography internship. Students who apply for this internship will not perform onstage during our performance. Interns are required arrive 45 minutes early and stay 45 minutes late to assist with preparing the next days activities, cleaning and resetting the School each day. Camp held at CSPA

Arts & Crafts Camp -June 29th - July 3rd

Jr. Internship - 8th Grade - $65 for 1 Camp Week

Full Internship - 9th Grade+ No cost for 1 Camp week

Patience and a positive attitude are REQUIRED for this internship; Artistic ability or general Craftiness is a plus! Interns will be assisting young students with Art and Craft activities. Interns are required arrive 45 minutes early and stay 1 hour late to assist with preparing the next days activities, cleaning up after the students/craft projects, and resetting the school each day. Finding Nemo KIDS Backstage/Production Internship- July 6th - 18th

Jr. Internship - 8th & 9th Grade - $100 for 2 Camp Week

Full Internship - 10 Grade+ No cost for 2 Camp week

Previous Theater/Dance/Tech/or Backstage experience is appreciated, but NOT REQUIRED for this internship. This internship may be used to gain experience. Students may be asked to assist with pre-production, set building, lighting, sound, curtain, stagehand, Costumes, props, assistant Stage Manager, etc. This is a BACKSTAGE internship. Students will work alongside our tech and backstage crew to learn the ins and outs and “pull back the curtain” (perhaps literally!) on what happens in a musical, behind the scenes. Students who apply for this internship should not expect to be cast as actors in the performance. Interns are required arrive 30 minutes early and stay 1 to 2 hours after main camp closes to assist with preparing the next days activities, straightening and resetting the School each day. The Addams Family Young@Part- Production Internship - July 20th - August 8th

Jr. Internship - 8th & 9th - $150 for 3 Camp Weeks

Full Internship - 10th Grade+ No cost for 3 Camp week

This is a BACKSTAGE internship - Students may be asked to assist with pre-production, set building, lighting, sound, curtain, stagehand, Costumes, props, assistant Stage Manager, ext. Students will work alongside our tech and backstage crew to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to put on a musical, behind the scenes. Students who apply for this internship should not expect to be cast as actors in the performance. Interns are required arrive 30 minutes early and stay 1 to 2 hours after main camp closes to assist with preparing the next days activities, straightening and resetting the School each day. The Addams Family Young@Part - Performance Internship - July 20th - August 8th

Jr. Internship - 9th & 10th - $300 for 3 Camp Weeks

Full Internship - 11th Grade+ No cost for 3 Camp week

Previous Theater/Dance/Performance experience IS REQUIRED for This Internship. Some Teaching or leadership experience is Preferred. This is a Performance and Teaching internship, and Students who apply for this will be expected to be able to take a leadership role in rehearsals, act as acting coaches to the younger students, run rehearsals for ensemble songs, run dance rehearsals, and spend time outside of camp preparing for their roles. Performance Interns will audition for the show and will be cast in the Show. Performance interns are required arrive to the theater 1 hour early and stay 1 to 2 hours after main camp closes to assist with preparing the next days activities, straightening and resetting the School each day. Songwriting/Ukulele Camp - August 10th -14th

Jr Internship - 10th Grade $65 for 1 Camp week

Full Internship - 11th Grade+ No cost for 1 Camp week

Ability to play the Ukulele, a solid understanding of Chord theory, or comfort with writing poetry IS REQUIRED for this Internship. This is a Teaching internship, and interns will be asked to instruct beginners on the Ukulele, help students write poetry, and build chord patterns in the keys of C and G to accompany their songs. Ability to play other instruments is a plus but not required. Interns may be asked to perform with the student bands, providing backing and support. Interns are required arrive 45 minutes early and stay 45 minutes late to assist with preparing the next day’s activities, cleaning and resetting the school each day. Camp held at CSPA.

Rock Band Camp - August 17th -21st

Jr Internship - 9th & 10th Grade $65 for 1 Camp week

Full Internship - 11th Grade+ No cost for 1 Camp week

Intermediate level musical Ability playing either Piano, Guitar, Bass, or Drums IS REQUIRED for this Internship. This is a Teaching internship, and interns will be asked to instruct beginners on the instrument the intern is experienced with, lead rehearsals, and assist in overseeing activities. Interns WILL perform with the student bands, providing backing and support. Interns are required arrive 45 minutes early and stay 45 minutes late to assist with preparing the next days activities, cleaning and resetting the School each day. Camp held at CSPA.
