
SPRING 2024 RECITAL FORM
Crescendo School of Preforming Arts is having a Recital for Students in Private lessons; We would love for your student to participate!
Fall 2024 student Recital Dates:
Saturday Nov 23rd at 5PM
or Sunday Nov 24th at 3PM
Requirements: A minimum of Two Months of Private lesson study with an Instrument or Voice Teacher at Crescendo School of Performing Arts and Ongoing enrollment in Private Lessons, or participation in the Triple-Threat Performance Program.
Cost to participate: $15 per Private student *
*Cost to Participate for Students in the Triple-Threat Program is covered by Monthly Tuition*
Students may play 1 to 2 songs per instrument studied, either alone, accompanied by their teacher, or in a band/group with other Crescendo students!
Students in the Triple-Threat Performance Program are invited to perform one solo song Each in the Student Recital as a part of their performance Program.
Saturday’s recital will focus on vocal students, and Sunday’s recital will focus on instrumentalist and Bands .
( However, you are welcome to Sign up for whichever recital best fits your schedule! Saturday’s performance will feature a clearer stage for vocalists, with instruments behind the curtain, but available as needed. Sunday’s performance will have drums and other instruments on stage, with better visibility for Band Performances.)
Students are invited (but not required) to run though their Recital song at Studio with lights, microphones, and sound at a sound check rehearsal before the show!
Saturday’s performers are invited to sound check between 12PM and 3PM on Saturday.
Sunday’s Performers are invited to Soundcheck on Sunday between 11AM and 2PM on Sunday.
Bands That need additional rehearsal together before the recital will be scheduled the previous weekend (November 16).
Call time for the recital for all performers is 2:45PM on 3/16.
Students will sit with their families during the recital, and visit the sound table 2 songs before they perform if they need a wireless mic.
Admission to the recital is FREE! Donations to our Scholarship Fund are welcome.
If you are unsure if your student is ready for recital, Please discuss with your Teacher. The Teacher and student together should decide, as well as select the music that is suitable for performance.
